# External Influencer access

> How to invite affiliates and agencies to Adclear as External Influencers so they can view their own monitored channels and compliance status.

## Who this page is for

This page is for internal admins who want to give an affiliate, or the agency managing them, sight of their own monitoring and compliance status. Read this end to end so you can guide your partners through the invitation.

## What it is

External Influencer access lets people outside your organisation sign in to Adclear and view the affiliates they have been linked to. A linked partner sees that affiliate's monitored channels and their compliance status, without gaining access to the rest of your workspace.

## Inviting an External Influencer

You link external users from the affiliate's own page.

    Go to the affiliate's page. Click the info button in the top-right to open the details sidebar, then find the **External Access** section. The sidebar is collapsed by default.

    A dialog opens asking for the person's email address.

  <Step title="Enter their email">
    Adclear checks the address as you type and tells you whether they are already in your organisation, an existing Adclear user, or new to Adclear.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a label">
    Pick **Affiliate** (the affiliate themselves) or **Agency** (an agency managing the affiliate). This describes their relationship to the affiliate.

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Click **Link user** for someone already in your organisation, or **Invite & link** for anyone else.

What happens next depends on the email address:

* **Already a member of your organisation.** They are linked immediately and can see the affiliate the next time they open Adclear.
* **Not yet a member.** They receive an Adclear invitation email, and appear in the External Access section with a **Pending** badge. Their access is granted automatically once they accept the invitation and sign up.

## What the partner experiences

After you send an invitation, your partner receives an email inviting them to join your organisation on Adclear. If they don't already have an Adclear account, they create one as part of accepting.

Once signed in, the sidebar lists every affiliate they have been given access to. Clicking an affiliate's name opens its page.

## Managing access

The External Access section lists everyone linked to the affiliate, with an **Affiliate** or **Agency** badge and a **Pending** badge for invitations that have not been accepted yet.

To remove someone, hover over their row and click the remove button:

* For a **pending invitation**, this revokes the invitation so the person never receives access.
* For an **active user**, this removes their access to this affiliate. If they are linked to other affiliates, those links are unaffected.

## What External Influencers can see and do

Access is read-only for the affiliate itself. Linked partners can:

* View the affiliate's monitored channels and the compliance status of the content found there.
* Open any promotion that monitoring has picked up.
* Reply to comments.

They cannot edit the affiliate or its settings, add or change monitors, or see other affiliates, your promotions, policies, workspace settings, or team member information.
