# After review

> What each review decision means and what your next step is.

## Overview

Once you've submitted, you can no longer edit the promotion. You'll receive an email notification when a decision is made.

## Decisions and next steps

| Decision       | Status         | Your next step                                                                                                                  |
| -------------- | -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Approved       | Approved       | No action required. The promotion is cleared for use.                                                                           |
| Rejected       | Rejected       | The promotion appears on your tasks with reviewer comments. Review the comments, then upload a new version that addresses them. |
| Changes Needed | Changes Needed | The promotion appears on your tasks. Make the requested changes and resubmit a new version.                                     |

  Review decisions cannot be reversed through the UI. If you disagree with a decision, the right path is to address the comments and submit a new version. You should not need to contact Adclear support to undo a decision.

## If you disagree with the decision

If you've received a Rejected or Changes Needed decision and you believe the risk should be accepted rather than the content changed, you can escalate the decision for risk acceptance review. See [Escalations](/marketing/escalations) for the full flow.

## What happens next on the dashboard

Promotions in Pending Review, In Review, Approved, Escalated, Reviewing Risk, or Risk Accepted are visible on the Promotion Dashboard but don't appear on your tasks unless action is required from you.
