# Importing from Frame.io

> Connect your Frame.io account and import videos straight into a promotion by pasting a Frame.io link.

## Overview

Frame.io import lets you bring a video into Adclear by pasting a Frame.io link, instead of downloading the file and re-uploading it. You connect your Frame.io account once, paste a share or file link, and Adclear pulls the video in so you can finish filling in the promotion details and submit.

## Connect your Frame.io account

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the New Promotion page">
    Go to **Promotions**, click **+ Add New**, and select the **Single** upload type.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose Frame.io">
    Below the upload zone, select **Frame.io**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect">
    Click **Connect Frame.io account**. A window opens to sign in with Adobe (Frame.io uses Adobe sign-in). Approve access.

  <Step title="Confirm the connection">
    The window closes and the panel shows **Connected as [your-email@example.com](mailto:your-email@example.com)**. You only do this once per account.

<Note>
  The connection can expire after a period of inactivity. When it does, the panel shows **Reconnect your Frame.io account**. Click **Reconnect Frame.io** and sign in again.

<Warning>
  If nothing happens when you click Connect, your browser may have blocked the sign-in window. Allow pop-ups for Adclear and try again.

## Import a video

<Steps>
  <Step title="Paste the Frame.io link">
    In the **Frame.io link** field, paste a share link (`https://f.io/…`) or an in-app file link (`https://app.frame.io/…`).

  <Step title="Click Import">
    Adclear checks the link, shows a thumbnail of the video, and starts pulling it in.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for the import to finish">
    A progress bar shows the download. Large files take longer. You can keep filling in the promotion details while it runs.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create and submit">
    Once the import completes, finish the promotion fields and click **Create Promotion**, then **Submit for Review** when ready.

## Supported videos

  The link must point to a video your connected Frame.io account can access. Make sure the file is shared with the account you signed in with.

## While the import runs

The video downloads from Frame.io into Adclear in the background, so a large file does not block the page. A thumbnail and a progress bar appear while it works. A playable preview of the video becomes available once the promotion is created.

## Troubleshooting

    Confirm the link is correct and that the file is shared with the Frame.io account you connected with. If you have access to the file through a different Frame.io account, sign in with that account instead.

    Frame.io needs to finish processing a file before it can be downloaded. Wait until it is ready in Frame.io, then import again.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Format or size error" icon="triangle-exclamation">
    Only MP4 and MOV files up to 2 GB are supported. Export a supported format from Frame.io, or trim the file below the size limit.

    If the panel shows **Reconnect your Frame.io account**, your session has expired. Click **Reconnect Frame.io** and sign in again.
