# Uploading guidance

> Pick the right upload type and prepare your files so Adclear can assess them properly the first time.

## What this section covers

How you upload a promotion has a direct effect on how quickly it gets through review. Two decisions, made before you click submit, drive most of the review delays we see.

The first is choosing the right upload type, picking Single, Carousel, Variations, or Batch based on what you're actually uploading and how you need it reviewed. The wrong choice can mean a single approval covering content that needed individual decisions, or four separate review cycles for content that should have been one.

The second is upload quality. Adclear can only assess what it can clearly see. Blurry images, cropped screenshots, multiple promotions merged into one file, or a draft with the disclaimers missing all force the reviewer to ask questions or assess content that does not match what will actually go live.

The two pages below cover both decisions in detail. Read them before your first submission, and refer back when you're unsure.
