# Website monitoring

> Set up website URL monitors, review recheck versions, and manage post-publication compliance for affiliate sites.

## Overview

Website monitoring tracks a single URL or domain as one monitor record. Each time Adclear rechecks that site, a new **version** is recorded. You always have a history of what the site looked like at each point in time.

## Bulk importing website monitors

Use bulk import when you need to create several website monitors from a spreadsheet. Download the CSV template from the bulk import dialog, then complete one row per website monitor.

The **Product** and **Channel** columns accept either a single value or multiple comma-separated values. For example, use `Credit Card, Savings Account` to scope one monitor to both products. Values must match the product and channel names configured in your workspace.

## Reviewing website versions

  <Step title="Find flagged monitors">
    On the **Website** tab, use **Show: Flagged for Review** to list monitors needing attention. Filter by status, affiliate, product, or country as needed.

    Open the **Comments** tab on the version detail view. For each Adclear evaluation comment, choose **Please Action** if you agree with the finding, or **Dismiss** if you disagree. Resolved comments move to the **Actioned** or **Dismissed** tabs.

    Work through every comment before recording your overall review decision. For guidance on when to action versus dismiss, see [How you help Adclear learn](/how-you-help-adclear-learn).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Record your review decision">
    Use the **Review** actions to record your assessment: **No Issues Found**, **Changes Needed**, **In Review**, or **Escalate**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  The follow-up workflow for notifying affiliates or monitor owners after you action or dismiss comments is still being finalised. Record your comment responses and review decision in Adclear today. Your team can define offline follow-up steps in the meantime.
</Note>

## Managing active monitors

From the **Website** tab you can:

* **Recheck** a monitor on demand to capture the current page content immediately.
* **Archive** monitors that are no longer relevant.
* Toggle a monitor **active** or inactive without deleting it.
* Edit the monitored URL if the affiliate's landing page has moved.

<Warning>
  Archiving removes the monitor from active lists but preserves its history. Use this when an affiliate relationship ends rather than deleting records outright.
</Warning>
