# System status alerts

> What the banner at the top of Adclear means when there's an active incident or scheduled maintenance.

## Overview

If Adclear is experiencing a service disruption or has scheduled maintenance in progress, you may see an alert banner at the top of the app. It tells you what's affected and links to the [Adclear status page](https://status.adclear.ai) for details and updates.

  This alert only appears while an incident or maintenance window is active. If everything is running normally, you won't see it.

## What the banner tells you

The banner shows:

* What's affected (for example, AI reviews, email notifications, or the app generally)
* Whether the issue is degraded performance or a full outage
* The current status of the fix (investigating, identified, monitoring, or resolved)
* A link to view the incident on the status page

## Dismissing the banner

You can dismiss the banner by clicking the close icon. Once dismissed, it won't reappear for that incident, even if the status page posts a new update. Check the [Adclear status page](https://status.adclear.ai) directly if you want to follow an incident's progress after closing the banner.

## Where to check for updates

The [Adclear status page](https://status.adclear.ai) is the source of truth for incident and maintenance updates, including issues that may not surface as an in-app banner.
