Overview

Single Sign-On (SSO) allows your organization to authenticate users through your existing Okta identity provider, providing a seamless login experience while maintaining security standards.
SSO configuration is an organizational-level setting that affects all users within your domain. This setup requires coordination between your IT team and Adclear support.

Prerequisites

Before beginning the SSO setup process, ensure you have:
  • Administrative access to your Okta Admin Console
  • The ability to create and configure applications
  • Your organization’s email domain(s) that will use SSO

Setup Process

Step 1: Create App Integration

  1. Log in to your Okta Admin Console
  2. Navigate to ApplicationsCreate App Integration
  3. Select SAML 2.0 as the sign-in method
  4. Click Next to proceed

Step 2: Configure Application

  1. Name your application (e.g., “Adclear” or “Adclear Compliance Platform”)
  2. Click Next to continue to the SAML configuration

Step 3: Configure SAML Settings

On the Configure SAML screen, you’ll need to enter the following information:
The following URLs and identifiers will be provided by Adclear support. Please contact our team to generate these values for your organization.
  • Single sign-on URL: [Provided by Adclear]
  • Audience URI (SP Entity ID): [Provided by Adclear]
  • Check “Use this for Recipient URL and Destination URL”: Ensure this option is enabled

Step 4: Configure Attribute Statements

Under Attribute Statements, add the following user attributes:
If your organization uses custom attributes for email, firstName, or lastName, replace the values in the Value column with your custom attribute names.

Step 5: Complete Application Setup

  1. Review all configuration settings
  2. Click Save to create the application
  3. Navigate to the Sign On tab

Step 6: Retrieve IdP Metadata

  1. In the Sign On tab, click View IdP metadata
  2. Copy the metadata URL provided
  3. Send this metadata URL to Adclear support

Step 7: Assign User Access

  1. Go to the Assignments tab
  2. Assign users or groups who should have access to the Adclear application
  3. Configure any additional access policies as needed

What We Need From You

To complete the SSO setup, please provide Adclear support with:
  1. The IdP metadata URL from Step 6
  2. The email domain(s) this SSO applies to (e.g., @company.com) - please specify if subdomains should be supported (e.g., @team.company.com)

Next Steps

Once you’ve provided the required information:
  1. Our team will configure the SSO integration on our end
  2. We’ll test the connection to ensure everything works correctly
  3. You’ll receive confirmation when the setup is complete
  4. Users can then log in using their Okta credentials
