Adclear’s settings are grouped into three areas, based on what each setting affects: Account (you personally), Organisation (everything under your organisation), and Workspace (the workspace you’re currently in). The settings sidebar shows the three areas as separate sections, so you always know the scope of the setting you’re changing.
Account settings follow you everywhere and stay the same across every workspace. Organisation settings apply org-wide, regardless of which workspace you’re in. Workspace settings are configured separately for each workspace.

Account

Profile, notifications, and security settings tied to you personally.

Organisation

Team members and other settings that apply across your whole organisation.

Workspace

Compliance rules and integrations for the workspace you’re currently in.

Account

These settings apply to you personally, regardless of which organisation or workspace you’re in.

General

Update your personal profile so teammates can recognise you across Adclear.
Upload a profile photo to replace the default initials.
Format: JPEG or PNG. Maximum size: 5 MB.Square images work best. Adclear will crop non-square uploads to fit.
Set the first and last name that appears next to your activity. Both your first name and last name should be between 2 and 16 characters.

Notifications

Control how, and where, Adclear keeps you informed.
Connect your Slack account to receive Adclear alerts directly in Slack.
1

Connect Slack

Click Connect Slack and authorise Adclear to send you messages.
2

Choose a channel

Select which channel should receive workspace-level notifications (announcements that aren’t tied to a specific person).
3

Configure DM preferences

Decide which events trigger a direct message to you.
Once connected, you can fine-tune your DM preferences:

Marketing

Promotion status changes, and when you’re added as a collaborator.

Compliance

New submissions, reviewer assignments, escalations, escalation responses, and promotion deadline reminders.

Mentions

Get a DM whenever someone tags you in a comment or note.

Review reminders

Heads-up notifications before a review’s next due date.

Security

We strongly recommend keeping MFA enabled. It’s the single most effective way to prevent unauthorised access to your account.
Adclear supports TOTP-based two-factor authentication using apps like 1Password, Authy, or Google Authenticator.Toggle MFA on or off from this page. When enabled, you’ll be asked for a 6-digit code from your authenticator app each time you log in.

Organisation

These settings apply across your whole organisation, regardless of which workspace you’re in. The section header shows your organisation’s name so you always know which one you’re configuring.
Most Organisation settings are only visible to workspace admins. If a section is missing, ask your admin for access.

Team Members

Manage who belongs to your organisation, what they can do, and which workspaces they can enter.

View and search

See every member alongside their role, status (active or pending invite), and the workspaces they can access. Search by name or filter by role and workspace.

Invite teammates

Send invitations by email. Pending invites appear in the same list until accepted.

Roles and countries

Assign each member a role and the countries they’re permitted to review for. See How roles work for what each role can do.

Workspace access

The Workspace Access column shows the workspaces each member can enter as chips. Control which workspaces each member belongs to from here.
An Uploader user with Risk Accepting permissions can formally accept compliance risk on a promotion. They can sign off on a promotion proceeding even when a reviewer has raised a concern. Assign this carefully; it’s typically reserved for senior compliance staff or legal.

Add members to a workspace

When you filter to a single workspace and search by name, the list splits into two groups so you can grant access without leaving the page.
1

Filter to one workspace

Use the Workspace filter to narrow the list to the workspace you want to manage.
2

Search for a member

Type a name. The results split into members already in that workspace, and members in your organisation who don’t yet have access to it.
3

Add to the workspace

In the second group, click Add to grant that member access. They move into the workspace immediately.
Pending invites can’t be added to a workspace until the invite is accepted.

Workspace

These settings apply only to the workspace you’re currently viewing. If you switch workspaces, you’ll see a different set of values here.
The Workspace section header doubles as a workspace switcher. If you belong to more than one workspace, click the header to switch, and the settings below update to that workspace’s values. If you only belong to one, the header simply shows its name.

Compliance

Configure how reviews are handled in your workspace.
Set the number of working days your team has to review a promotion after submission. For example, setting this to 5 means reviewers should complete their review within five working days of submission.
The SLA is used to drive deadline reminders. Reviewers and risk acceptors will get nudges as the deadline approaches.

External

Generate a shareable URL that affiliates and external partners can use to submit promotions directly into your workspace, with no Adclear login needed. The link opens the external submission form, which feeds straight into your workspace’s submissions queue.

Copy submission link

Click the copy button next to the URL to grab the link in one click. Submissions arrive in your workspace with the partner already attributed.

Affiliates

Set workspace-wide defaults that pre-fill when a new affiliate submission comes in. These defaults save reviewers time and keep submission data consistent.
  • Default Channel - the ad channel the promotion will run on, for example social, display, or email.
  • Default Product - the product being promoted.
  • Default Jurisdiction - the country or region the promotion is intended for.
  • Default Targeting - the target markets for the promotion.
The Default Targeting field may not be visible in every workspace. If you don’t see it, it isn’t currently enabled for your account.
Affiliates can still override these defaults on individual submissions. They’re starting values, not locks.

Discord

Invite the Adclear bot from Settings → Workspace → Discord (/settings/workspace/discord). You’ll need server admin permissions to add the bot. Configure monitored servers, channels, usernames, affiliate link patterns, and Approved Copy per affiliate from Monitor Settings on the affiliate detail page (/affiliates/:id?view=settings). For per-affiliate Discord configuration and message review workflows, see Discord monitoring.
