Every promotion opens in a preview that shares one control bar across asset types, so zooming, fitting, and commenting work the same way whether you’re looking at an image, a PDF, or a video.

The control bar

The control bar floats at the bottom-centre of the preview. It stays out of the way on a narrow window — the lower-priority controls collapse and the rest scroll — so the core zoom controls are always reachable.

Zooming and panning

Beyond the buttons, the preview responds to trackpad and mouse gestures:
  • Two-finger scroll pans around the asset.
  • Pinch, or hold Ctrl/ while scrolling, zooms in and out towards the pointer.
Images and PDF pages zoom up to 800%. SVGs are vector, so they zoom much further without going blurry. PDFs add a sidebar (toggle it from the leftmost button on the control bar) with everything specific to multi-page documents:
  • Page controls — type a page number to jump to it, or step through with the up/down buttons.
  • Find in document — search the full text of the PDF. The field shows the current match position and total (e.g. 2/7); press Enter for the next match, Shift+Enter for the previous, and Esc to clear. Matches are highlighted on the page.
  • Pages — a thumbnail of every page; click one to jump to it.
  • Outline — the document’s bookmarks, when it has them.

Commenting from the preview

The Add comment button lives on the control bar. Click it to enter comment mode, then click the asset to place your marker. You can also show or hide existing comments from the bar; the button carries a badge with the comment count. For the full commenting workflow, see Comments and collaboration.

Downloading

When downloads are available for a promotion, the Download action also sits on the control bar.
