Overview

Claims are substantiated marketing statements reviewed separately from promotions. They follow the same review workflow. Every claim is scoped to a product, jurisdiction, and communication type, set when the claim is created.

Claim review actions

After any action, you are assigned as reviewer on the claim.

Assigned reviewer on claims

A specific reviewer can be assigned when a claim is created. The assigned reviewer receives the notification, and other reviewers with permission for the relevant market can still pick it up.

Claim versions

Claims can have multiple versions. Comments are version-specific - V2 comments are not visible on V1. Use the version switcher to move between versions. Each shows its own data, status, and comments.

Archiving claims

Claims can be archived by Compliance Admin and Marketing Admin users. If you need a claim archived and don’t have those permissions, ask an admin to do so from the three-dot menu on the Claims page. See How Roles Work for the full permission breakdown.
The Owner and Reviewer filters on the Claims list and claim tasks let you select a team. Choosing a team shows every claim owned or reviewed by any of that team’s current members, including unassigned claims when you select Unassigned. See Teams for how teams are created and managed.
