Overview

Adclear’s affiliate monitoring tools give compliance teams and affiliate managers a structured way to track post-publication activity across websites, Discord, and social media. Once content is live, Adclear continues to evaluate it, raise compliance issues, and build an audit trail over time.

Intended audience

This guide is written for:
  • Compliance managers responsible for reviewing flagged content and maintaining audit records.
  • Affiliate managers overseeing affiliate activity, tracking compliance rates, and managing monitor configurations.
Users who can create campaigns typically configure website monitors, Discord servers, and social media handles. This aligns with Marketing and affiliate manager roles in most workspaces.
The External Influencer role cannot access Monitoring. External partners submit promotions through the external submission form but do not see the post-publication inbox.

Quick start

If you are new to affiliate monitoring, follow these steps to get oriented.
1

Open Monitoring

Navigate to Monitoring from the main navigation. You will see channel tabs: Website, Discord, and Social Media (depending on which add-ons are enabled for your workspace).
2

Filter flagged items

Each tab defaults to Show: Flagged for Review. Toggle to Show: All when you need the full list.
3

Open a flagged item

Select a row to open the detail view. Review the evaluation outcome, the content that was checked, and any issues raised.
4

Open Affiliates

Navigate to Affiliates. Locate an affiliate to view their compliance rate, total monitored sites, and channel-specific monitor lists.
5

Configure monitors

Open an affiliate and click Monitor Settings to configure website URLs, Discord servers, or social media handles for that affiliate.

The Monitoring inbox

Monitoring is where post-publication checks are reviewed. Each channel has its own tab.
TabWhat it lists
WebsiteWebsite monitors and their latest version status
DiscordFlagged Discord messages
Social MediaFlagged social media posts
On every tab you can filter by status, affiliate, and date. Use Show: Flagged for Review to focus on items that need attention. When you open an item, use the Review actions to record your assessment: No Issues Found, Changes Needed, In Review, or Escalate.

Affiliates

Affiliates brings together everything relevant to a specific affiliate: profile details, compliance metrics, and monitored content across channels. When you open an affiliate’s profile, three summary indicators appear at the top.
MetricWhat it shows
Total SitesThe number of website monitors currently active for this affiliate.
Compliance RateThe proportion of monitored content that has passed evaluation, expressed as a percentage.
Avg. Issue Per SiteThe average number of issues recorded across all monitored sites for this affiliate.
These metrics are website-centric today. Discord and social media items appear in the Monitoring inbox and on the affiliate’s channel tabs, but are not yet reflected in these headline metrics. Click Monitor Settings on an affiliate profile to configure website URLs, Discord servers, and social media handles for that affiliate.
  • Check Monitoring for newly raised items from overnight checks.
  • Review and action raised Discord messages and social media posts from the previous 24 hours.
  • Confirm that active monitors are running as expected (no error states).
  • Review compliance rates for key affiliates in Affiliates.
  • Identify affiliates with a declining compliance rate or rising Avg. Issue Per Site.
  • Audit newly added monitors to confirm they are configured correctly, including Approved Copy and social media relevancy settings.
  • Clear any backlog of unreviewed items.
  • Review all active monitors and confirm they are still relevant and correctly configured.
  • Update Approved Copy and social media keywords or brand assets to reflect current campaigns.
  • Check whether any affiliates need to be removed from or added to the monitoring programme.
  • Use website version history on key monitors to identify content drift over time.
