Before you start
You need access to workspace compliance settings. Open Settings, then go to Workspace, Compliance, and Self Approval.This page applies to workspaces using configurable self-approval rules.
Workspaces using legacy review permissions manage self-approvers from the
review permissions page.

How matching rules are selected
A rule must match every dimension configured on it. For example, a rule scoped to one product and one jurisdiction applies only when both match. When more than one rule matches the promotion:- a rule for the named user takes priority;
- otherwise, a rule for the user’s role takes priority;
- otherwise, a rule for everyone is used.
AI requirements
Check a rule
After saving:- confirm the intended users or roles are included;
- test a promotion that matches every selected dimension;
- test one promotion outside the scope; and
- confirm the expected AI requirement is enforced.
