Visibility and assignment
Why isn't a submitted promotion appearing in my tasks?
Why isn't a submitted promotion appearing in my tasks?
The most likely cause is that the promotion was submitted with a specific reviewer assigned, and that reviewer is someone other than you. The promotion surfaces in their tasks, though anyone with permission for the relevant market can still pick it up. Check the promotion’s Info tab to confirm the assigned reviewer.Another possibility: you may not have permission for the relevant market. Permissions to review are scoped by jurisdiction. Speak to your site admin if you think you should be assigned to that market.
Can I review a promotion assigned to a colleague?
Can I review a promotion assigned to a colleague?
Yes. Assigning a reviewer surfaces the promotion in their tasks, but it doesn’t lock the promotion to them. Anyone with reviewer permissions for the relevant market can pick it up (for example, when the assigned reviewer is out of office).
Decisions
What's the difference between Reject and Request Changes?
What's the difference between Reject and Request Changes?
Reject signals the promotion has failed review and isn’t suitable as submitted. It’s a final outcome. Request Changes signals that specific amendments are needed before it can be approved. It’s a collaborative step. Both result in the promotion appearing on the uploader’s tasks with your comments visible.
A carousel has an issue in one frame, can I approve the other frames?
A carousel has an issue in one frame, can I approve the other frames?
No. A carousel is reviewed as a single unit. One decision applies to all frames. If one frame has an issue, your options are to request changes on the whole set, or reject it. The uploader can then resubmit a corrected version of the full carousel. See Upload types.
Can I undo a review decision?
Can I undo a review decision?
Review decisions can’t be reversed through the UI. If a decision needs correcting, the uploader resubmits a new version that addresses the comments, or escalates for risk acceptance review if appropriate.
Upload quality and AI comments
An AI comment looks wrong. Could it be an upload quality issue?
An AI comment looks wrong. Could it be an upload quality issue?
Yes. Poor-quality uploads are a common cause of inaccurate AI comments. Blurry images, missing disclaimers from cropped screenshots, and multiple promotions merged in one file can all cause Adclear to comment on things incorrectly. If the upload looks low quality or incomplete, request changes and ask the uploader to resubmit with a cleaner, complete file. See the Upload quality guide.
Evergreens and claims
What happens if I approve an evergreen promotion without setting a new review date?
What happens if I approve an evergreen promotion without setting a new review date?
Adclear blocks the approval and shows a pop-up requiring a new date if the current review date is today or has passed. You can’t skip this step.
A claim hasn't changed to Pending status on its review date. What should I do?
