Overview

Social media monitoring tracks affiliate posts on social media channels for compliance issues after publication. Adclear filters posts for relevancy first, then runs compliance evaluation on posts that match your configured rules.

Relevancy filtering

Keywords, affiliate link domains, and brand assets determine which posts enter the compliance pipeline.

Automated monitoring

Turn monitoring on per handle to poll configured social accounts on a schedule.

Compliance evaluation

Relevant posts are evaluated against your workspace policies like any other promotion.

Monitoring inbox

Flagged posts appear on Monitoring → Social Media for reviewer action.

Prerequisites

1

Create the affiliate

Navigate to Affiliates and create the affiliate record if it does not exist yet.
2

Set the affiliate country

The affiliate must have a country assigned before you can add social handles.
3

Open Monitor Settings

Open the affiliate and click Monitor Settings. Scroll to the Social Media section.
If the affiliate country is blank, the Add button for handles is disabled. Set the country on the affiliate profile first.

Configure social media monitoring

The Social Media section in Monitor Settings has four configuration groups.
Social account usernames to track.Click Add to open Add Handle. Select the Platform and enter the Handle (without the @ prefix). Click Add to save.Toggle monitoring on using the switch on the handle row. When enabled, Adclear polls that account automatically.
Keywords that indicate a post is relevant to your campaigns.Click Add to open Add Monitored Content and enter a keyword or phrase (for example, a campaign name or product term).
Images used to detect your brand in post content (logos, product shots, etc.).Click Add to open Add Brand Asset, upload an image, and optionally add a Label. You can add up to five brand assets per affiliate.
Configure at least one relevancy signal (affiliate link, keyword, or brand asset) alongside your handles. This reduces noise from unrelated posts on the affiliate’s account.

Website monitors recheck URLs on a schedule and create versions over time. Social media monitoring polls configured handles, filters posts for relevancy, and evaluates each relevant post once. There is no version history for social posts.
Social media monitoring is an add-on feature. Speak to your Adclear contact if your workspace should have access.
